SMS Messaging Terms

These SMS Messaging Terms describe how Lead Filament, operated by VenturePipeline LLC (Centreville, MD), sends text messages and how recipients can opt in and opt out. Lead Filament is a customer care service that helps small businesses respond to missed inbound calls via automated SMS.

1. Program Name

The SMS program described here is operated under the name Lead Filament by VenturePipeline LLC.

2. How Recipients Consent to Receive Messages

Business clients

When a business signs up through our onboarding form at leadfilament.com/onboard.html, they agree to be contacted by Lead Filament — including by SMS — to coordinate setup, confirm details, and receive service-related updates.

Callers contacted on a client's behalf

When someone calls one of our client businesses and the call goes unanswered, our automated voice system answers and asks the caller whether they would like to receive a follow-up SMS from the business. A text message is sent only if the caller verbally consents during that call. We do not send SMS messages to people who have not first called a client business and agreed to receive a text.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the caller's conversation with the business. Typically, a caller will receive no more than a few messages per inquiry — an initial response and any follow-up needed to connect them with the business.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier if you are unsure about your plan's messaging rates.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. After you send STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

7. No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
